You can't succinctly express what it is to be in the hustle bustle of the second class compartment of Kurla Express (Coimbatore <--> Mumbai)
Chaiwalas (Tea Peddlers) rush past with the usual sing-song hum. Co-passengers fight and adjust with each other for space. While some are soundly asleep without a care.
The Ticket Collector is a dread if you take things too lightly (and have an empty pocket). What is even more dreaded is the prospect of more co-passengers entering. Because in Indian Railways, all are welcome. (Sometimes little too many!)
