Afghan refugee children 2

According to the Ministry of Refugees and Returnees of Afghanistan, about two million Afghan refugees live in Iran, among whom one million and 400 thousand still lack legal immigration documents. This situation has led to problems for Afghans such as lack of identity and citizenship rights, lack of access to appropriate jobs, the deprivation of Afghan children from education and other issues; as most migrant children work to help their families or are forced to work. Many Afghan refugees in Iran confront lack of identity, uncertainty, mental and psychological pressures, poor economic conditions and high living costs.
