A Shy Hello

While I was in Uganda on a mission trip, we visited a small village outside of the city Jinja. This particular village was deeper than the road went so we had to walk in. This little girl ran into her house when I tried to say hello. She was terrified of me at first. I had to sit outside the hut next to a goat for about 15 minutes while she would peek out and then hide again before she finally felt brave enough to say hello back to me.
