15th Annual Smithsonian.com Photo Contest
A drink of water by the man that saw through me.

This is one of two men that were sitting together preparing food behind the family compound they worked for during the summer. Their job of was to separate the peas from the pods. Their was easily 75 kg. When I joined them with my camera, the man insisted that he drink his water while I photographed him. Every time I look at this image I feel like he understood the power of his eyes and anticipated my discovery of this.
