A Deep stare
Id like to think the photograph shows art, mystique and pain hidden behind all of these glitz and glam how we use makeup to hide pain and bruises, how we use a smile to hide who we truly are, only I like to show who I truly am and I think difference should be celebrated as such, without the constraints society likes to apply and beat down until we are like everybody else like a pattern only another copy to blend into the wall paper.
When I was a teenager I had no sense of what the world would do to me once I expressed how I truly wanted to look, with dark clothes and black lipstick until I was spat at, thrown stones at and even grass not to mention the social isolation that went with it, I bent to their rules and became them my confidence was beaten down so much I constantly wore headphones, until I grew confidence and grew up although I may not be as heavily dressed as a teenager I still express who I am but photography gives me that limitless ability to express whatever id like and for it to be celebrated.
