According to Bangla calender Falgun 26, 1419 (March 10, 2013), it was Shivarathri (Shiva’s night) festival, the auspicious moment for the Hindu pilgrims when they gathered at the premise of the Chandranath Hill Temple, famous as a temple of shiva at Sitakunda, Chittagong, Bangladesh. The pilgrims remain busy offering and worship after a holy bath in the pond nearby. Shaving off hair is a vital part of the pilgrims.
