Yellow River

River runs entirely through present-day China; Originates in the western mountains, flows through seven provinces and empties into the Bohai Sea. Historically it is the most important; In its basin have been discovered archaeological sites that demonstrate the human presence uninterrupted since the prehistory. Around it arose the civilization of the -Han-, reason why is considered «the cradle of the Chinese civilization». Its name is due to the great amount of materials in suspension that drag its turbulent waters that give its characteristic color.
