Yaupon Holly

This is a Yaupon Holly tree. This tree grows wild on my property and is an important food source for wildlife. The berries on the tree are eaten by birds and mammals. The fruit forms in the winter time and is also a beautiful ornamental besides being an important food source for animals. I leave as many of the native plants on my property as possible which is good for the environment.
