Mt Yamnuska is an absolutely beautiful hike that is situated right on the edge of the Rocky Mountains just before the road takes you out to Calgary. The all-day hike is quite intense but is well worth it at the top where you can see the great power of the mountains to the west and the immense flatness of the Prairies to the east.
