Waves of Fire

This photograph captures the beauty of creation and destruction at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This photo was captured on the eastern most cliffs of the Island of Hawaii and lava flowing from Kilauea's Pu'u O'o Vent flowed into the ocean. In this photo you can see the lava flow broken into several rivers entering the pacific ocean as the cold ocean water crash against the shore.
