Walrus resting on the rocks next to Cape Serdtse Kamen

In the Bay next to cape Serdtse Kamen, up to 120 000 walrus gather every year from september to early november. Exhausted by the migration, they sleep for days on the shore. Any square meter of rock or sand is occupied and strongly defended.
