Vermillion Cliffs overlooking Lee's Ferry Natl Monument

this picture was taken looking west just after entering Lee's Ferry National Monument. John D. Lee started Lee's Ferry when he as hiding from federal officers following the Mtn Meadow Massacre. The white clouds coming from the west reminded me of the Federal officers riding in to arrest John D Lee.
