Vast Great Sand Dunes of the Rockies
This was a shot of the Great Dune within Great Dunes National Park and Preserve, a natural phenomenon of the Colorado mountains, where the mountains have been worn down by water for millions of years only to be blown back by wind resulting from the very same mountain range to create the United States largest sand dune range. During the fall, there is a short span where the Aspens of the mountains change their colors and the resulting colors and blend of colors that look absolutely surreal.
