Up Close and Personal

We were on a sightseeing boat on the Chobe River which is the border between Botswana and the Caprivi Strip of Namibia. The guide beached the boat on the Botswana bank so that we could get a close-up of this resting crocodile. No one volunteered to push the boat off of the riverbank after taking a photo, and the guide used full throttle in reverse to put us back on the river.
