Unusual berry cluster discovered on a walk in the highlands of Ecuador.

I was the slowest in a group of five women participating in a Country Walkers trip in the highlands of Ecuador. The guide was terrific; while the other 4 ladies set off to climb 1 mile straight up a mountain, he directed me to another path I could do safely on my own. I had a delightful, solitary walk for an hour and a half, enjoying the peace and quiet of the valley while discovering beautiful plants and trees and critters along the way.
