Two Friends

Two Friends captures a heron and a seagull sitting next to each other on two different poles. This photo was taken during low tide when the water level was abnormally high due to a previous storm that caused flooding. It is a beautiful example of how nature adapts to unusual situations. I took this photo on the Wicomico River between the Upper Ferry and the Whitehaven Ferry on a beautiful day in the summer of 2018 and it makes me happy every time I look at it.
