Trunk and Leaves

Elephants spend days inside the bamboo forests. Reed Bamboo, one of the most favorite food for elephants of westernghats. No wonder it is also called as elephant bamboo. It is very difficult to spot them in there. Only the shoots move. She gets the trunk up and breaks it. The sound is what gets me there. I waited nearly an hour to get this picture, but that wait was worth it.
