Too early in the morning

We were driving in the far north of Hokkaido near Wakkanai early in the morning in late July. We were looking for birds, but found this fox in the middle of the road. After a minute, it sat on a grass verge and let out a huge yawn. There was no one else for miles. A perfect moment.
