Tiny Dancer

We visited the orchid show at Longwood Gardens in the spring. While orchids are amazing flowers, there were so many that it was almost overwhelming. In all of the color and distraction, I was attracted to the patterns and details of the reproductive structures. Converting the image to black and white emphasized the pattern of the flower, and helped to focus on the dancer and her expansive skirt.
