The Wanaka Tree in the rain

During a trip to New Zealand, I was enamored by the focus of the entire country on self sufficiency and not squandering resources. It was inspiring to see a model of efficiency and frugality with a limited resource set rather than sacrificing quality in order to supply quantity.
