The King's Roar

I was able to capture this shot on a dreary rainy day in South Africa. When we first set out I commented that I wish the weather was better. How wrong I was! The overcast sky created a soft glow that through a perfect light on all the wildlife I shot that day. Every detail of this Lions mane is apparent with the perfectly balanced light provided from above.
