The Happy Llama
"The Happy Llama" was taken on the street in a the little town of Maca, Peru, which is in the Colca Valley. Maca dates back to the 16th century and is appreciated for it's adherence to tradition. The natives are of pre-inca decent and maintain their vibrant style of traditional dress, even decorating their animals to match. To get there you have to travel over a 16,109 ft pass (one of the highest in the world)!
