13th Annual Smithsonian.com Photo Contest
"The breath of dawn"
The idea of filming - to show that the dawn hours, give rise to the world a miracle, even in the most remote corners of the Polar forest tundra of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. The most interesting feature is the amazing play of light. Difficulties accompanying the process of shooting, this time-consuming movement of marshy bog in the forest, as well as, a lot of mosquitoes and midges, which significantly interferes with the whole creative process. After this shot, I slipped and fell into the swamp up to his waist, and at this very moment in my hand was a camera and a tripod, I miraculously did not drown my photo equipment. Fortunately, nothing happened.
