Teton Dam Disaster Site

On June 5th 1976 the 100 million dollar Teton Dam project failed. Built on a lava flow of basalt and rhyolite it was unsuitable for the build. The water flooded from Teton to Blackfoot Idaho and destroyed 300 million dollars worth of property.
