Survivor - a saved oak tree in Skagit Valley.

In 2009, this oak tree was suffering from a fungus and rotting branches. A small group of senior citizens rallied to save it. Today it stands as you see it, healthy and strong and guarding the schoolyard in La Conner, WA.
