Survival

A tiny frog charred by a roaring blaze that destroyed this forest reappears after finding a small hole to hide in and escape from the fire in Riau, Indonesia. The little amphibian is thought to have been one of the only surviving creatures after the terrifying disaster, which was started by a hot spot in the deep peaty ground of the forest.
