Sunrise on the plains of Chitabe Camp

We normally awakened at sunrise, and I really wanted to capture the soft, gentle, beautiful light over the plains right outside my door each morning. At this still, quiet time of the morning, we were privileged to feel that sense of timelessness that to me is a special part of traveling in Africa.
