Storm clouds on Mount Shuksan
Many photographers seek out perfect conditions and locations, but many of the best photographs are taken elsewhere and in less than perfect conditions. This image taken of Mt. Shuksan during a storm as the sun was setting above the clouds is a great example. The mountain only revealed itself for a mere minute before it was engulfed again by the storm.
