Spring wildflowers in full bloom at Guadalupe River State Park in Texas.

While visiting my brother in Texas this past April, we went for a long day hike at Guadalupe River State Park. The wildflowers were in peak bloom, so our hike took us twice as long as it should have. We couldn't resist stopping to snap shots at each new bend in the trail! This particular valley was carpeted with gorgeous Indian paintbrush, bluebonnets, sunflowers and more. Every time I view this photo, it takes me back to that precious memory with my little brother.
