The Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia is home to one of the rarest animals on earth, the Spirit Bear. Also known as Kermode Bears, they are Black Bears that have white fur resulting from a recessive gene. They are strikingly beautiful, especially against the backdrop of the old growth forest.
