Solar Shadows Mimic Fireworks during August 2017 Eclipse

The front road became my photo canvas during the solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. This scene shows my shadow as I stood on a patch of grass and took a picture of the sun's crescent reflections through the tree leaves. The crescent solar reflections showed up as sepia toned shadows on the grass and as black and white shadows on the blacktop. It looked like a fireworks display, but on the road instead of in the sky!
