Snoozing Raccoons Beat the Summer Heat

This family of raccoons appeared in early spring. As the kits continue to grow, space in the communal tree cavity is at a premium. These two are keeping cool in the summer heat by hanging out the window for a snooze. (Whetstone Park in Columbus, OH. Taken July 18th, 2018)
