Smoke from the Cedar fire in California

The year 2016 has been a wild one for California firefighters. My town is in the middle of all the fires and have had a few of our own. This is the plume of smoke seen from the boulevard in Tehachapi, California. It is astonishing that even many miles away the damage can be seen through something so simple as a tower of smoke rising above the mountain tops.
