Shaking off the Cubs

This female (sow) Coastal brown Bear and her Spring (first Year) Cubs were digging for clams at low tide in Alaska. As the tide started to rush in, mom headed for shore and dry land with the cubs hitching a ride on her back. At this point mom appeared to have had enough and stood to shake the cubs off...much to their dismay.
