I was on my journey home, after a weekend of camping near Long Lake, NY with my sister's family. I was only a few miles from the campground when I spotted a lily pond lit by up by a brilliant September sun. I grabbed my camera and started walking around the edge of the pond. A bright red dragonfly caught my eye as it landed on an old stump in the middle of the pond.
