Saving a Black Skimmer Caught in Monofilament

This picture depicts a Black Skimmer caught in monofilament inside a Least Tern breeding colony in Gulf Port Mississippi. A crew of biologists and myself all worked together to free the skimmer of the abrasive plastic unharmed.
