Roseate Spoonbill

The day I took this photograph of a roseate spoonbill, I was out hiking at Schooleys Mountain in Long Valley, New Jersey when my friend texted me about the sighting of this bird. This picture was taken in Knowlton, New Jersey on May 27th, 2018. Typically this bird is found in the southern United States, but may have ended up this far north due to the tropical storm.
