RESCUE OF BLACK-NECKED STORK

While India had hosted the world environment day with the theme, "Beat Plastic Pollution", just two days back, here I was at Basai Wetlands on 7th june, 2018 witnessing the very horror of what plastic is doing to our environment and its beings. it was one of my regular birding trips wherein I spotted a Black-necked Stork that had a plastic ring stuck on its bill. as a result, it could neither ear nor drink. After struggling for several days, the bird was finally rescued on 13th June, 2018.
