The name goldfish seems that the fish is quite majestic in its appearance as it starts with "gold". Refraction is commonly observed phenomenon of light.since Refraction can make objects appear closer than they are, it is responsible for allowing water to magnify objects. The refracted one shows its worthiness of its beauty like "gold"
