Red Lagoon, Reserva de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa

Photo of one of the most remote places on Earth - Red Lagoon in Bolivia. It's a shallow lake located at altitude of 4200m. Its surreal colours are caused by white borax island and red colour of the algae n the water. The day we arrived there was a strong, freezing wind which caused dust to swirl in the air.
