Rain Dance

A Chestnut-breasted coronet (Boissonneaua matthewsii) from Tapichalaca Reserve in the Southern tip of Ecuador. Unlike us, who have the option to take shelter when it rains, wild animals must at times bear the brunt of the weather. However, this little hummingbird didn't seem to mind. Living high up in the Andes mountains, it must be used to inclement weather. It was a rather impressive sight to see as it weathered the storm.
