This photo was taken during the total eclipse of the sun last August 2017. It is perhaps not very interesting except for what I think it caught. I assume it was a solar flare or some such. I have shots either side of this showing the typical full eclipse of the sun. I was surprised when I went to review and found this. I actually missed it for it occurred between the time the mirror was blocking my view. The shot was taken about 100 miles east of Casper Wyoming and 15 miles north of Shoshoni Wy.
