While driving across norther New Mexico near Eagles Nest the balloons were launching.  The freedom and grandeur of the launch is very American to me.
This is the Cadillac Diner aboard the Norwiegan Cruise Liner 'Spirit of America'.  Honalulu is in the back ground and diner is not far away.
My wife was buying honey from a vendor in Pikes Place Market in Seattle and the seller had stacked her jars of honey in the window and the sun was shining brightly through them.
