On the Far End of Lake Pukaki

A winter storm lurks on the valley area behind Aoraki, New Zealand's highest mountain. While many parks in the world offer similarly stunning views of snow-capped mountain ranges, Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park is unique in the number of geological features, with its glaciers, meandering tributaries, and silver-blue rock flour lakes.
