The fence stood as a testament to the old ranchers of the far west.  Not much remains of the old way of doing things but the fence sits in the foothills of the Sierra's.
The Wyeth like scene was captured in Bodie California.  When the dream of finding gold ran out.  The people left and belongings became part of history in a place known sometimes as hell.
