My search for the Wilderness

I have always been fascinated by nature. I grew up in an adventurous family. My childhood was marked by trips to the Cerrado (the Brazilian Savannah), sunsets on the mountains, waterfalls, frogs, bats, birds, tiny insects and the sounds of night. Since then, the image of a wild, pristin, untouched nature has dominated my mind. That’s exactly what fascinates me, and is precisely what I try to express in my photos. That dark snowing morning in Patagônia surprised me with the perfect situation.
