Mother's Day roses
My friend Sherry called me on Saturday may 7th and asked me if I could give her a ride to Kroger's so she could get her mom some roses for Mother's Day tomorow. (Kroger's is a grocery store in south eastertn Michigan.) I told her not a problem and I picked her up. (she only lives 4 houses down from me) We arrived at the store and walked through the parking lot up to the front entrance. The floral department is right there as soon as you walk into the store. Sherry had to go wait in line at the floral register because an employee put her roses up, because they were the very last bouquet of roses that was on sale for 10 roses for $10. So I told her that I was going to look at the flowers and take some pictures with my cellphone. There were a lot of flowers on display, way more than usual. And there were also a lot more people than usual. It seemed as though Kroger's was a florist and not a grocery store chain! For a grocery store Kroger's has some of the most beautiful flowers that I have ever seen. And as I'm wandering around checking out the flowers I am really enjoying myself. There were so many people there that for a minute all you could hear was the crackling and crinkly sound of cellophanes that were wrapped around all the bouquets of flowers. The selection of roses that they have today is amazing, so I am focused on getting a nice picture for the contest. My picture was taken with my SAMSUNG GALAXY LIGHT CELLPHONE.
