Monarch Butterfly resting on a Dandelion seed flower. This Monarch is only the second one I have seen this year. I hardly see them anymore. I found this one at the beginning of my hike, roaming around looking for a spot to rest for a moment. Thankfully my camera has a good zoom on it because I didn't want to get to close to it and cause it to take off. There was maybe 10ft. between us. The scene was perfect with the sunlight coming through it's wings while lighting up the Dandelion seeds.
