This shot was not planned at all. My friends and I took a trip to Tahiti to chase a swell and little did we know that our lives would be changed by a once in a lifetime experience. I was shooting underwater photos at a surf break on this day and noticed two whales right outside of the break! I kept calm and stayed in position to see if the whales would approach me. This baby calf decided to come up to me and play for over an hour! No tour and boat was needed for this natural moment.
