My grandmother loves her 15 year old Yorkie like a mother loves her child.
My subject is 5 years old and had NO IDEA why I had her put her hands up like that and put her on her daddy's shoulders.  She could see everyone else doing it but didn't understand until I showed her
This originally a photo of a wilting rose growing along the road in the town of Jacksonville. Its petals cover the floor, almost as if it is weeping.
While my boyfriend I were on a brisk walk I noticed this little lady bug all alone. It stands out with its bright red body against the lively green leaves.
I thought it was interesting how the sun hit him at the perfect angle to cast his tiny shadow underneath his body onto the leaf he was perched on.

It seemed like these little guys almost made a repeated pattern in this picture. Their bodies are silhouetted against the stagnant water.
Even Miles away this unique plateau stands out. It   looks almost ominous in the distance.

The local Phoenix Oregon fire fighters test the water pressure of the fire truck hoses, they are heroes who protect this beautiful valley.
I was at the Tyler Zoo, and this beautiful leopard seemed as if he had better things to do then to entertain visitors. He seemed lost in thought.
